Designer Electrical Services offers a comprehensive inspection facility covering periodic testing in all areas including industrial, local authorities, residential homes, and letting agents. Our experience is supported by our membership, since July 1999, of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC). We’re able to respond within 24 hours, for a standard site periodic inspection, in a cost effective and efficient manner and with minimum disruption. All premises are provided with fully bound test documentation and certification following inspection. We’re able to carry out any remedial work in tandem with the inspection, or at a later agreed date. A test and inspection involves a condition report on your property, which tells you through instrumentation, the condition and age of the installation that is currently in your property or business. We offer periodic inspection and testing to the IEE wiring regulations BS 7671, and as an NICEIC-approved contractor we’re able to issue all certification to the standard of this qualification. BS7671 recommends that domestic homes be subject to inspection every 10 years or in the event of any change in occupancy.
Offices should be inspected every 5 years and retail premises every 3 years. On completion of the inspection and testing we supply a full NICEIC certificate and report which includes the results of tests carried out and any defects which may require attention.
We’ve carried out inspection and testing on the premises of Watford Borough Council and our pricing has proved to be very competitive. We’re also able to provide a visual report, if required.
